| Viridaxis | ||
| Viridaxis SA, founded
in 2004, after 4 years of lab research, focuses on the mass production
of aphid parasitoids with the mission of bringing alternative and innovative
biological solutions to horticulturists and farmers. Under the supervision
of Prof. Hance, Head of the Ecology and Biogeography lab at the Université
catholique de Louvain, the spin-off works on a worldwide unique parasitoid
production solution which operates regardless of environmental conditions,
dramatically reduces costs and generates high quality insects. This patented
solution offers a convincing alternative to the €650 million market
for insecticide products. Viridaxis’ goal is to become a leader
in the field of integrated biological solutions. The start-up already
provides efficient solutions to greenhouses and it targets the large and
untapped open-air culture segment. |

| Alterface | ||
| Alterface is a spin-off
from the Telecommunication and Teledetection lab of the Université
catholique de Louvain and develops innovative systems that integrate players
into a virtual scene. The further development of the stereoscopic visual
systems and its patented Tranfiction software allows the easy and fast
creation of content into a company hardware stations. Alterface’s
missiom is to facilitate human-machine interaction with multi-sensory
devices that rely on natural interaction. This interaction must be spectacular,
accessible to the general public and allows clients to fit contents and
entertainment. Alterface offers its products and services on the Education
and Entertainment market segment (leisure parks, museums) as we the information,
training and advertising segment (show rooms, professional simulation). |

| Cissoid | ||
CISSOID is a Fabless Semiconductor company, leader in High Temperature Electronics. We develop and sell High Temperature Integrated Circuits (IC) designed for the highest reliability in the widest range of temperatures. Our products will operate at least from -55°C to +225°C. They have been tested from -200°C to +300°C. The reliability of CISSOID products is based on long years of experience in silicon technologies, design for high temperature, design for reliability, assembly techniques and test. Most of CISSOID’s products are built on Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI), a fabrication process that offers tremendous advantages for High Temperature operation and high levels of radiation (Rad-Hard products). Cissoid’s products inherit over 20 years of R&D activities in the field of SOI and was the very first company to exploit this technology |
