Gilles Dufour, PhD, brings more than 10 years of experience spanning venture capital, clinical strategy, corporate development, company creation, and biotech operations. His unique combination of scientific, operational, and investment expertise enables him to support innovative life sciences companies from early-stage development through clinical and strategic value creation.
Following a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Liège and postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School, Gilles joined RA Capital Management, where he gained experience evaluating public and private biotech investments. He subsequently held operational leadership roles at Synthorx, serving in Corporate Development and Clinical Strategy functions and contributing to the growth of the company prior to its acquisition by Sanofi for $2.5 billion.
Gilles later founded and managed Accretio Management, a boutique life sciences consulting firm specializing in clinical positioning, strategic development, and value creation for biotech companies. Through this work, he advised numerous companies on clinical strategy, therapeutic positioning, and development pathways designed to maximize the clinical and commercial potential of their assets.
