With a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven, Saskia joined the team in 2025, bringing in fresh perspectives straight from academia. Her doctoral research focused on molecular medicine, where she acquired expertise in target validation and assay development. During this time, she gained hands-on experience in drug discovery through a collaborative project with the Center for Drug Design and Discovery (CD3). Alongside her research, she completed additional training in research valorization at LRD-KU Leuven.
