Yannick joined VIVES in 2017, drawing on ten years’ experience in scale-up, industrial project development, licensing and growth. Yannick focusses on the biotech and agro/agri space. He sits on the company board of Botalys.
Prior to VIVES, Yannick spent ten years in the development of a young belgian’s start-up involved in the feed and fertilizer industry, EcoPhos. Yannick took different key positions to support the growth of the company passing from 5 to 350 people, with a turnover of M€ 130. By setting-up four industrial plants internationally and selling technology license worldwide, Yannick has experience in scaling-up, industrialisation and international negotiations. He was sitting as board member in different JV of Ecophos.
Prior to Ecophos, Yannick spent several years in business and market development for different companies (Air Liquide, BMS Micro-Nutrients).
Yannick holds a M.D in bio-engineering from UCL and has a MBA from Vlerick business school. He also studied abroad in Madrid, Spain (Univ.Politecnica de Madrid).
